Your logo and packaging — or, your Look — is as important to your success as the product itself.

You've spent hours perfecting your chocolate recipe, and everyone who tries it agrees — it's phenomenal! When you do in-person taste tests, your sales are through the roof. When your product stands alone, on-shelf, however, the numbers aren't as big as you'd projected. Or worse, the buyer you've finally made contact with won't carry your product because of the packaging. Many clients have come to me because they've found themselves right where you are — frustrated because their fantastic product isn't flying off the shelves. In short, they didn't — and maybe you don't — have an effective look. I can help you fix that.

The Look Logo process is rooted in strategy. Before I ever put pen to paper, or turn on my computer, I'll take the time to get to know you. I'll learn about where you've been, and where you want to go. Together, we'll investigate all your brand ingredients (essence, audience, personality, position, and promise) — and design a Look that's tailored to suit. Think you might be ready, but you're still not quite sure? Contact me for a half-hour, free consultation. I'll review your current Look, and let you know if your current packaging passes the 3-second test. No strings attached.

"Brenda is a creative genius! She is very professional, yet fun to brainstorm and work with. She took the time to understand our brand, our message, and the demographics of our market. We have had tremendous positive feedback on our Look from consumers and vendors alike. Since rolling out the new logo and packaging, our sales have doubled this quarter, and we finally got our foot in the door with a major buyer." – Katherine Bryan

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Human Services Certificate, from Oregon State University in 1993. I worked in the field briefly, but my heart belonged to design. So, I moved to Seattle, where I attended the Art Institute, earned a Visual Communications degree in 1996, and have been a professional graphic designer ever since. While in Seattle, I had the honor of working for award-winning design firms such as Toolhouse, and Koryn Rolstad Studios. In 2001, I set out as a solopreneur to blaze my own trail — or rather, design it. My work has been selected for Logo Lounge volumes 4, 8, and the Logo Lounge Master Series; Seattle Print Arts Juried Competition; Portland Monthly's "Portland's Best" issue; won Silver at the San Francisco Chronicle's wine label competition; and received a gold award for Best Packaging at the UK Natural & Organic Product Awards.

Enough about me, though. Let's talk about you.
